WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?

An escape room is a live 60-minute game. You and your team will step into a themed room with a unique mission where you will work together to uncover clues and overcome challenges to complete your mission. While there may be digital elements, you are interacting in a real immersive environment. This isn’t a video game. These games engage every sense in a one-of-a-kind tactile experience inside an immersive setting that feels like the set of a Hollywood blockbuster.

WILL I BE LOCKED IN A ROOM?

Don’t let your claustrophobia keep you from experiencing the fun! For the safety and enjoyment of all players, a participant may exit a live room escape game at any time if things get too real.

HOW LONG DOES THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE TAKE?

Each game is designed for one hour of intense fun! Plan to spend 15 minutes prior to each game preparing and briefing for your mission, and 15 minutes after each game to debrief and take photos.

WILL OTHER PEOPLE BE IN THE ROOM WITH US?

Unless you book the entire escape room, you may be paired with other players. However, you can purchase all available spots to make it a private event. However, we are temporarily making exceptions due to current circumstances, so If you would like to make your room private please give us a call so we can accommodate you.

DO I NEED TO SHOW UP EARLY?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled booking.

WHAT ABOUT REFUNDS?

We understand that plans change, so reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours before your game for a full refund! We reserve the right to refuse refunds, however, we have never refused a single refund. Just give us a call if you need to reschedule or cancel a booking.

IS THERE A HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY?

At Escape The Trap House, we prioritize the safety and enjoyment of our guests. However, it is important to note that participation in escape room/black light minigolf activities involves physical and mental challenges, and each participant is responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of completing the tasks involved. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Physical Challenges: Some rooms require crawling, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 10-15 lbs, and navigating through tight spaces. It is the responsibility of each participant to assess their own physical condition and limitations before participating.

Health Conditions: Guests with pre-existing health conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, respiratory problems, back or joint issues, or those who are pregnant, should consult with a physician before participating.

Assumption of Risk: By entering our escape rooms and black light mini golf area, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the activities, including but not limited to physical exertion, slips, falls, dropping objects, and other injuries. This includes risks arising from your own actions and the actions of others in your group that may lead to such incidents.

Please be aware that the mini golf area is dimly lit, using black lights and bright black light-reactive paint, which may affect visibility. Participants may be required to step over landscape brick-sized blocks and navigate uneven terrain and around obstacles that are part of the course. Proper care and attention are necessary to avoid injury, and by participating, you assume all associated risks, including those arising from but not limited to reduced visibility and physical obstacles along with the uneven surfaces or steps.

Release of Liability: Escape the Trap House and its staff, subsidiaries, agents and associated legal entities shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation or at anytime the guests are in the building or on the property. Guests assume full responsibility for any risks involved. This includes loss of personal property including but not limited to valuables you may have brought onto the premises.

Conduct: Participants are expected to follow all instructions provided by staff and refrain from engaging in any reckless or hazardous behavior.

By entering the premises or booking or participating in an escape room or black light mini-golf experience at Escape The Trap House, you agree to this health and safety policy and the assumption of any risks involved.
